The Purpose

If you believe in bringing positive impact to your future career, organisation, society, and planet. If you are passionate about working across frontiers and adding meaning through a career in the fields of CSR, ESG, and Sustainability. And if you wish to top up your current studies with a dedicated focus on responsible leadership to trigger your understanding and practice.

 

Join your peers from 12 leading international business schools and gain a unique global, regional and local perspective to enlighten your path to lead positive impact. The certificate has been designed to be aligned with the 17 UN sustainable development goals (UN SDGs). It balances a premium learning experience with limiting CO2 emissions by featuring a remote "phy-gital" and interactive simulation, a suite of online modules, and two selective cohorts for intensive weeks catering for master's to MBA levels (Brazil) and bachelor to master's levels (Singapore) respectively .

The Program & Dates

Module 1 - Business & Sustainability Simulation: 23rd-25th April, 2025. Open to students from CoBS schools only.

      Taking into account sustainability variables, build and develop your company in a competition that pitches you against
       other master’s and MBA student teams from the CoBS member schools. The winning team takes away €1,500 in prize             money. All participating students are awarded a CoBS Advanced Certificate (Module 1).

Module 2 - Online modules suite: 1st June-25th June, 2025Open to students from CoBS schools only.

​

       Follow 4 online CSR, ESG, and Sustainability-focused modules among a choice of 8: Social & environmental reporting,
       ethics & compliance, CSR in China, companies and climate change, cross-cultural management, circular economy,
       inclusion and disability, business and social impact in India. Total online time: 4 hours’ viewing plus extra readings, plus         self-assessment quizzes to be followed when you want, where you want. All participating students are awarded a CoBS         Advanced Certificate (Module 2).

 Module 3 - International Field Experience: Two options in 2025

 

A. An intensive week hosted by FGV EAESP: 30th June-5th July. Open to master's and MBA-level students from CoBS
    schools only.
      

​      Take part in a transformational, award-winning intensive week on the theme of Sustainable Leadership: The rain forest
      perspective
. Students travel by boat to a territory of high complexity and relevance to the SDGs, particularly those
      relating to climate change and biodiversity – the Amazon. Students learn a different idea of leadership, meeting with
      indigenous, riverine, and women´s co-operative leaders among others. Students earn both an FGV EAESP Certificate
      and a CoBS Advanced International Certificate. Students having followed all 3 modules receive a Full CoBS AICRPB.

B. An intensive week hosted by ESSEC Asia-Pacific: 7th-11th July. Open to bachelor's and master's level students from
    CoBS member school students and students from external universities / business schools.

​

      Take part in a hands-on, multicultural intensive week on the theme of Unlocking Sustainability and Leadership 
      Excellence
. With a special focus on Asia-Pacific, top faculty and researchers provide students with lectures on the
      themes of sustainability in business, ESG for managers, how ESG impacts finance and marketing, entrepreneurship and
      green innovation, and ethical decision-making. Students visit Singapore's start-up hub, a leading MNC renown for its
      sustainability prowess, meet with leading practitioners, and take part in a case competition. Students earn both an
      ESSEC Certificate and a CoBS Advanced International Certificate.
